BUILT AROUND YOUR HOME. ROOTED IN METRO DETROIT.Southfield & surrounding communities
A BETTER BARRIER

Protect the opening. Respect what is inside.

An uncovered or damaged chimney opening can invite birds and other animals. Before closing it, the chimney needs to be checked for occupants or nesting material. A screened cap helps protect the covered opening; it cannot close unrelated entry points elsewhere on the home.

Animal exclusion in Metro Detroit

If you hear movement

Do not light a fire to drive an animal out. Keep people and pets away from the fireplace and contact us with a description of the sounds. Live animals or protected nesting birds may require an appropriately qualified wildlife professional.

What exclusion can include

Once the opening is clear and any necessary removal is completed, an appropriately fitted screened cap can help reduce re-entry. Cap sizing, mesh and clearances must suit the venting system.

Know what is separate

Animal capture, nest removal, cleaning and cap installation are separate scopes. Tell us what you have observed so we can explain which services may be needed before quoting.
