How to prepare
Let the fireplace and ashes cool completely, stop using the appliance before the visit as instructed, clear a working area and keep pets away. Tell us about inserts, gas logs, unusual noises or prior service findings.
How often is enough?
Schedule an annual inspection and clean when the inspection and actual use indicate it is needed. A regularly used wood-burning fireplace may need more frequent attention. A cleaning log or chemical product does not replace a physical evaluation.
